My school dates back to 1853

So I realized that maybe my school is older than Canada itself. I can't remember Exactly when Canada started. But man it is old. We went to see where the school's afterschool area is located and all the school history. I mean my school is even in the history books. Weird feeling.
Anyways days are getting colder here. I am starting to hate being a girl because of the stupid skirt. That's all. Very very cold. My feet feel like icecubes as I bike to and from school everyday.
Today I will be going to see a clarinet ensemble concert in Sakuyo University in Kurashiki. I must say I go to Kurashiki a lot these days. And fukuyama. Sakuyo University especially to see Saxophone concerts and such. Now it is clarinet. OH ya I went to see another saxophone orchestra concert. AMAZING. I am starting to like classical saxophone. ONLY as an orchestra or ensemble. I don't quite enjoy solo pieces tho.
Decemeber 5th is another sports festival. Only basketball badminton and table tennis events. Looking forward to that. Also in December my friend invited me to go to Hiroshima with her. She is paying for it. I am so happy and grateful for that. I am going to see the bomb memorial dome place.
Oh for those who know. I am a big fan of Japanese dramas. Currently I am watching a drama called Bloody monday. It is sooo amazing. Very creepy though. But very good. It is about what could happen if terrorist group found a virus that could kill everyone. The virus is Bloody X. It is a fight between terrorist and police hackers. and everything is all complicated but I am looking forward to it.
Anyways my finger feel like Icecubes right now.
My current favorite artist in japan is: FLUMPOOL. New debut this year. i have them on my playlist.
things going well here so far tho...

Midterm week

I cannot believe that this week is almost over. I did not think I would survive this week properly but here I am, on a thursday night writing in my blog. On Monday, I had my second midterm. It was my East Asian Religion & Culture class. I only had a 2 hour study session for the class and afterwards, I didn't really study much to be honest. So I was a little nervous coming into class that day. The teacher assistant came late, so it just increased my nerves for the day. When we finally got the exams, I realized, I knew more of the midterms than I expected, it was just a lot of writing that I had to do. I found myself writing the same themes over and over again but with different words. In a way that was relatively similar to the way he was lecturing his classes and the way Chuang Tsu has written his philosophy. It is basically the same but there are variations of the same theme I feel. Anyways the midterm went better than I expected, however, you never know what might happen. So,...

M! Countdown + JJ PROJECT!!!

So... today. I decided to not go to class at all because I needed to see JJ Project's debut stage in person. Yes. I went to see this performance in person. It was completely worth it! JJ Project had a pre-recording, so it was nice to have their debut stage with only their fans. The time that was indicated on their fan cafe was at 9:30 but my friend and I came at around 8:30am. We got our numbers after sending in our names to the fan manager and I was originally number 15 but when it was time to line up again at 11:00, I was pushed up to number 11! We were given blue JYP wrist bands and the fan managers wrote our numbers on it. They also handed out the fan chants, a temporary large JJ Project banner AND they handed out a stamp card. The stamp card is really motivating me to go and see them for every performance. I brought my own and good thing we were allowed to use them. (Since some fan clubs are more anal about it then others.)    We got inside around 11:30 but we ...

Jeju Island

Last weekend, my friend and I and her family went to Jeju island. Since my friend and I still have school we decided to only stay for 2 nights and 3 days. Her family was going to stay a couple more days than us. However, first we arrived in Jeju at around noon and met the tour guide. Since there was 6 of us all together one of us had to sit in the back. My friend's sister did it on the first day. Once we arrived, we wanted lunch and we ate some galbitang. Galbitang is basically rib soup? or beef soup? They stick a piece of meat in a soup and you add salt and pepper to your own desire. It's very bland without salt and pepper and without all the side dishes they provide you. Since my friend's parents are not good with the spicy foods. Galbitang was good but it took a lot of time to eat. On the way to our pension or resort house thing?, or the place we were going to stay over at, we stopped by the beach and took some pictures. The view was beautiful and the color of the ocea...
