School Festival

Last week was a very long and hectic week.
It was school festival preparation all the way. From Monday till thursday night even friday night. Festival was Friday and Saturday. It was a very fun day. I loved it. Thursday night I stayed at school until 8:30 at night working on the mosaic art. Some students stayed there all night working on it. Friday was stage performance. The piano playing went well. There were a lot of guys dressing up as girls there. There was even a highschool musical performance/dance show. It was very fun to watch. EVEN teachers dressed up as girls. My english teacher did. hahaha. Too bad I didn't get a picture. That day my camera sort of died on me. Anyways it was towards the end where my homestay father/principle of the school came by me and said to play piano because there was still time left. OUT of the blue. So I had to. I played A thousand miles by Vanessa Carlton. Yes I sung as well. It was very nerve wracking of course but in the end it was all fun. After that it was back to working on the mosaic art. Some students stayed until 4 in the morning. I went home at 9:00. It was really a long and tiring day. Yet on Saturday it was completed. It looked amazing. Saturday was the band performance that went well. After that it was food time. There were lots of delicious food there of course. Everyone had their t-shirts signed it was amazing.
After that the band got a chance to play with the Kurashiki Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. It was amazing. After that the festival was over. People took a lot of pictures and went home.
Sunday morning I had saxophone trio practice that went from 10 in the morning til 6 in the evening. Long but very good. We have the saxophone competition in a week. This week in fact. I think. On the 12th. Oh my.
Today's a monday but a holiday because everyone is super exhausted from the festival. I am slowly losing my english grammar. My speaking English is slowly fading. Aaaaa. Good thing and bad thing i guess. hahahaha.

Jeju Island

Last weekend, my friend and I and her family went to Jeju island. Since my friend and I still have school we decided to only stay for 2 nights and 3 days. Her family was going to stay a couple more days than us. However, first we arrived in Jeju at around noon and met the tour guide. Since there was 6 of us all together one of us had to sit in the back. My friend's sister did it on the first day. Once we arrived, we wanted lunch and we ate some galbitang. Galbitang is basically rib soup? or beef soup? They stick a piece of meat in a soup and you add salt and pepper to your own desire. It's very bland without salt and pepper and without all the side dishes they provide you. Since my friend's parents are not good with the spicy foods. Galbitang was good but it took a lot of time to eat. On the way to our pension or resort house thing?, or the place we were going to stay over at, we stopped by the beach and took some pictures. The view was beautiful and the color of the ocea...

M! Countdown + JJ PROJECT!!!

So... today. I decided to not go to class at all because I needed to see JJ Project's debut stage in person. Yes. I went to see this performance in person. It was completely worth it! JJ Project had a pre-recording, so it was nice to have their debut stage with only their fans. The time that was indicated on their fan cafe was at 9:30 but my friend and I came at around 8:30am. We got our numbers after sending in our names to the fan manager and I was originally number 15 but when it was time to line up again at 11:00, I was pushed up to number 11! We were given blue JYP wrist bands and the fan managers wrote our numbers on it. They also handed out the fan chants, a temporary large JJ Project banner AND they handed out a stamp card. The stamp card is really motivating me to go and see them for every performance. I brought my own and good thing we were allowed to use them. (Since some fan clubs are more anal about it then others.)    We got inside around 11:30 but we ...
