School Festival

Last week was a very long and hectic week.
It was school festival preparation all the way. From Monday till thursday night even friday night. Festival was Friday and Saturday. It was a very fun day. I loved it. Thursday night I stayed at school until 8:30 at night working on the mosaic art. Some students stayed there all night working on it. Friday was stage performance. The piano playing went well. There were a lot of guys dressing up as girls there. There was even a highschool musical performance/dance show. It was very fun to watch. EVEN teachers dressed up as girls. My english teacher did. hahaha. Too bad I didn't get a picture. That day my camera sort of died on me. Anyways it was towards the end where my homestay father/principle of the school came by me and said to play piano because there was still time left. OUT of the blue. So I had to. I played A thousand miles by Vanessa Carlton. Yes I sung as well. It was very nerve wracking of course but in the end it was all fun. After that it was back to working on the mosaic art. Some students stayed until 4 in the morning. I went home at 9:00. It was really a long and tiring day. Yet on Saturday it was completed. It looked amazing. Saturday was the band performance that went well. After that it was food time. There were lots of delicious food there of course. Everyone had their t-shirts signed it was amazing.
After that the band got a chance to play with the Kurashiki Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. It was amazing. After that the festival was over. People took a lot of pictures and went home.
Sunday morning I had saxophone trio practice that went from 10 in the morning til 6 in the evening. Long but very good. We have the saxophone competition in a week. This week in fact. I think. On the 12th. Oh my.
Today's a monday but a holiday because everyone is super exhausted from the festival. I am slowly losing my english grammar. My speaking English is slowly fading. Aaaaa. Good thing and bad thing i guess. hahahaha.

Work work work

So ever since I went came back from Victoria (I was there to look or houses) I have been busy with work! It is a really good thing and it keeps me busy during the summer but at the same time I get really tired at the end of the day. Let me start with my house searching adventures in Victoria. I wanted a place where it is cheap an close to campus. Yeah it is quite an idealistic approach but hey it's better than having no expectations I guess. However after going to look at places for three days straight, my future roommate and I got a little down from not finding anything and I almost compromised my requirements in order to have something. However, on the last house we looked at, we found something that both of us liked and that my friend liked as well. So that was good. Now all I got to do is to send some paperwork and the place is ours! Yes! I still cant believe we got that place.. All inclusive AND it is furnished AND it is close to campus! Ggah! I am soo happy. I had to go hom...

Blueberry picking day one?

Today... Was a freakin loooong day! I started pretty early around 8ish? Well I woke up around 7ish to get ready and my whole family along with my mom's friend went to the blueberry farm. It is an organic farm so everything is natural. Well it is a good thing for the customers but it is quite a challenge for the pickers. Since it rained last night, early in the morning the bushes were still wet. It was slightly chilly too. In a way it made work a lot more tolerable because it was so cool and I thrive on the cool weather. There was one summer where all I did was raspberry picking. From then on I never wanted to eat raspberries again. However that has been slowly changing. This time if I continue to pick blueberries I might I won't want to eat blueberries for a long time. That is a little sad but sadly it might come true. We worked for a long time until around 4ish and I didn't do well. However it was also the first day or everyone. I don't know. I only managed 2 bucket...

End of the semester!.... soon

So.... my 3rd year as a university student is slowly coming to an end... Exactly on April 5th it will end... That is if I don't take summer courses this semester. I am still wondering about that this year. Whether to do that or not. Anyways, I have exciting news to post today. I got an e-mail from the university, after FINALLY declaring my major of a general Pacific and Asian Studies BA, I can graduate next year in April. If I don't decide to minor that is. If I do decide to minor then I'm afraid I have to graduate in 2015 but if not... I can graduate next year... in April. How exciting is that? I know most people would like to be a university forever... but I think otherwise. I am kind of tired of school right now and just do something... mind numbing for a while I guess. However, I probably will get tired of that too quickly and need to find a job. I don't know what job I can get with my major but I'm not worried about that... as much... right now. What I am ...
